89th Academy Awards Red Carpet

Tonight was the 89th Academy Awards.  It is one of the biggest award show of the season.  This year’s venue is the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and hosted for the 1st time by Late Night Host Jimmy Kimmel.  Now while the award show itself has highlighted some of the biggest movies of the year we, of course, can’t forget all the fashion. FYI- The Blue Ribbons some celebs were wearing are for the ACLU. Check out some of the looks from the red carpet.

The shade of looks gorgeous on her. I would have loved the gown more if the sleeves were a little shorter, but that could just be my personal preference.

I thought the pandas were cute and fun especially on a red carpet so serious.

What I love about this look is that she is giving sex appeal without going overboard. Don’t even get me started on the hair. Love!

I really like this type of hem. My only complaint is her pose makes her look uncomfortable.

Another one of my personal favorites from the night. Now I will I am not the biggest feather fan, but on this gown, it really works.

I am such a big fan of hers. When I see her stylish pixie cut I got excited especially paired with this gorgeous gown.

Not only did she picked up a well-deserved winner, but she won her red carpet look as well.  I don’t know which I loved more the hair or gown. I think I will go with both.

Actor Ryan Gosling (La La Land) in Gucci

The texture on his shirt added something extra to his tux.

I love the color, but I am not 100% on the style.  I think it should have been either or (train or short).

Actress Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) in Ralph & Russo

Here is another great choice on the red carpet. I love the texture. However, I am just not a fan of points like this. I don’t know what is about them.

Actress Emma Roberts in vintage Armani Privé

I had to do a double take due to her hair color.  I like the color combination.  I think I like the bottom of the gown more.
