Go Red for Women 2017- Red Dress Collection 2017 Runway Show (Images)

It’s that time of year again. One of our favorite runway shows during New York Fashion Week is Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection.   We really love fashion for a cause.  According to Yahoo! Finance this year’s runway show features two heart disease survivors for the 1st time ever.  Odilia Cristabel Flores from New York City, a Senior Manager in Macy's Social Compliance Department, and AHA Real Woman Nicole Hardy from Scarborough, Maine are two the lovely ladies who will be strutting down the catwalk alongside this year’s celebrities.  Check it out.

The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® Red Dress Collection™ 2017 presented by Macy’s is an exclusive event where top designers, models, and celebrities demonstrate their support for women’s heart health during New York Fashion Week. Founded by The Heart Truth®, the event reminds women of the need to protect their heart health, inspiring them to make a change because cardiovascular diseases kill nearly 1 in 3 women each year – about one woman every 80 seconds. The good news is that 80 percent of cardiovascular diseases may be preventable with education and lifestyle changes. Go Red For Women encourages all women to get informed, make the time to “Know Your Numbers” and inspire friends and loved ones to lead healthier lives.
You can donate to this cause by visiting Go Red for Women.
