After seeing menswear collections from London and Milan, it was now time to see what Paris had in store. This week was filled over memorable trends and distinct looks throughout the collections each day. There were so many to choose from, but here I have included some of the collections that really caught our eye.
This collection consists of military inspired looks (i.e. camouflage jacquard outerwear, military-style trousers, and military lapel pins).

It was an interesting yet successful choice to use bright colors for the canvas during the runway show. It offered a great contrast to the neutral looks while complimenting brighter ones.
Day 2 (1/21/16)
It was all about textures and color for this collection. If guys are fans of either those things then they won’t be disappointed.

I thought this collection offers guys an even blend of streetwear and workwear which works perfectly for those who are seeking to get the most out of their wardrobe.
Day 3 (1/22/16)
This collection marks the debut Jason Basmajian’s debut as chief creative officer for the label. The standouts of this collection are the well-tailored coats.

The theme of this collection is Freedom according to Tisci. Although, this is the menswear collection I would say the women looks really make take notice as well.
The audacious pattern featured looks left a huge impact. I wouldn’t say they overpower the more solid looks, but definitely, will keep you talking. This collection is for the guy who isn’t afraid to take risks when it comes to fashion.

Yasuhiro took viewers on a journey to the past with this collection focusing on past lives. Denim, Plaid, and Retro Keepsake patches make appearances on several of the looks. It has a more relaxed feel to it.
The luxury brand communicates what is known for. Véronique Nichanian used high-class fabrics such as extra- fine cashmere, calf-skin, and lamb. This collection consists of well-polished looks with the lavish guy in mind.
According to Alexander Fury of Vogue Runway, this collection marks Lucas Ossendrijver’s 10th year designing for Lanvin. I was interested to see what the label would do especially after the recent departure of Creative Director Albert Elbaz this past October. That aside it was a very cohesive collection overall. My preferred pieces from this collection are the trench coats.

It was so many different elements used throughout this collection. There wasn’t a shortage of streetwear looks from denim, leather and sweats just to name a few. The clown theme was very evident which help keep the collection interesting.
This is a close to yet another menswear season in Paris. Next up is Haute Couture in Paris followed by New York wrapping up menswear for the Autumn 2016/Winter 2017 season. What are your thoughts on Paris Fashion Week? Do you have a favorite collection? Let us know by commenting below.
