Bridal Fashion Week wrapped up earlier this week and with it came diverse bridal trends to look out for next fall. Here are some of the highlights of the collections that showcased over the week. Whether you a newly engaged or just a fan of bridal fashion you won't be disappointed with these eye-catching looks.
Day 1 (10/7/15)
Truly Zac Posen Bridal Spring 2016

This collection marks the designer’s fifth collection for the bridal retailer David’s Bridal. The main inspiration for this collection comes from the art moment Impressionism. Posen says that his muse is a modern Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Dennis Basso for Kleinfeld Bridal RTW Fall 2016

According to Kristi Garced at WWD Basso made sure there was something for every bride. I would have to agree. This collection had its share of traditional ballgowns to unique design such as a tailored strapless silk mikado tuxedo dress with a back bow.

Inbal Dror Bridal Fall 2016

This collection is for the bride who wants to provocatively walk down the aisle.
Marchesa Bridal Fall 2016

The focus of this collection is the attention to detailing particularly the metallic embroidery and mother-of-pearl beading.

Ines Di Santo Bridal Fall 2016
It was all about sexy yet sophisticated looks with the splendor of light for this collection. The lace pants are an eye catcher.
Monique Lhuillier Bridal Fall 2016

Lhuillier imagines her brides running through a romantic flower garden. Some of the standout designs from this collection include Chantilly and embroidered lace gowns.

Yumi Katsura Bridal Fall 2016

When you have 50 years of experience designing bridal gowns you definitely know want it takes to have longevity. According to the designer via her interpreter her gowns represents“modern classics with a couture hand”. My favorite gown of this collection is the ombré gown with 3-D floral appliqués.
Austin Scarlett Bridal Fall 2016

Scarlett sought inspiration from the Conservatory Gardens in Central Park for his fall collection. Although, I am not the biggest pink wearer myself, but this soft strapless gown is nicely done.
Day 5 (10/11/15)
Alon Livné White Bridal Fall 2016

19th-century Russian ballet is what Alon Livné communicates through this collection with an emphasis on a figurative swan. The designer was able to accomplish by using lace embroidery. This fall collection will be just the thing for brides who are looking for a retro feel when it comes to the gown choice.
Anna Maier Bridal Fall 2016

Paris is a major influence for this collection particularly the different moods of the Parisian woman (confidence, power, and sensuality). Bunstine offers various gown silhouettes for brides depending on their preference. You can’t help but pay attention to the intricate detailing of each gown.

Temperley Bridal Fall 2016

The designer features 12 news styles designed for the bohemian and glamorous bride. Design elements include teardrop crystals, mirrored appliqués and metallic geometric embroidery which are used on the A-line gowns. I am picking up on the Art Deco influence as well in a selection of the gowns. Each gown is distinctive, yet not overshadowing.
Gustavo Cadile Bridal Fall 2016

In his second bridal collection, Cadile gives brides as an appealing fusion of romance and sensuality. This designer is new to me, but I must say his collection certainly stood out to me especially his use of special shapes in each gown. If you are seeking femininity, you won’t miss it in this collection.
Day 7(10/13/15)
Vera Wang Bridal Fall 2016

As a part 2 of last season’s collection, the allure of Spain returns as the inspiration. As a result, Wang calls this collection “Hotel Madrid Part Two”.
This collection is perfect for the bride is looking a dramatic and alluring feel to her gown. Also, Black offers a great contrast to the “traditional” white gown.
Oscar de la Renta Bridal Fall 2016

Copping takes on the task of incorporating ready-to-wear influence, remixing styles from his spring 2016 runway with bridal elements for this collection.
