Fashion News- Sundial Brands launches Madame C.J. Walker Beauty Culture exclusively at Sephora

Sundial Brands the manufacturer behind famous natural beauty brands such as Nubian Heritage and Shea Moisture is launching a new hair care line called Madame C.J. Walker Beauty Culture for Sephora. This is the line marks the company’s first prestige hair care launch.  According to the press release will consists of four collections that will address the cleansing, treatment and styling needs of all hair textures. Products and collections include Brassica Seed & Shea Oils Collection (Smoothing/Style-Extending), Coconut & Moringa Oils Collection (Frizz Fighting/Humidity-Blocking) and Jamaican Black Castor & Murumuru Oils Collection (Curl-Defining/Moisture-Sealing) – and one treatment collection – Dream Come True Collection (Scalp & Strand Nourishing).  The line will exclusively be sold in Sephora stores and Sephora.com on March 6th.  For more information visit Sundial Brands.

Madame CJ Walker was the first self-made millionaire African American woman.  Born Sarah Breedlove, she was the creator of specially formulated hair products for African American women as she suffered from hair loss herself due to a scalp disorder.  Some of  her early products include the "Walker Method"—involving her own formula for pomade, brushing and the use of heated combs which she demonstrated for potential customers.
